Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover Foundation

Hi guys.
Another beauty review for you, let me know how you feel about me doing beauty reviews as predominantly i am a fashion and style blogger and actually claim to know diddly squat about makeup professionally all i know is i buy a lot of it.
This foundation is frecking amazing! Seriously it really is maximum cover its covers everything - EVERYTHING!
So for people who like a natural look, just no, this foundation is not for you. I find it creates a totally blank canvas and almost gives a doll look to your face. It probably has more coverage that the average concealer so could be used as a concealer, but if using it as a foundation if you have bad skin or just like that total coverage look you will love this.
I currently use Double Wear in Ecru (which Ive just repurchased) and it is truly my holy grail product. I use Maximum cover around my chin and on problem areas just to give me that flawless look.
I have used this on it's own and yes i do like the finish (which is totally matte) but i find it really emphasised my pores and didn't wear long on me even using a primer.
All in all it is a fantastic full coverage foundation and it will last you for ages as the tinest bit goes a long way.
I will still repurchase this as when my skin is bad i will fill confident that i have something that will cover what i need it to cover.
Love Steff.
xx

  2. I have the medium coverage one and love it. Pricey but worth it.

  3. I love this and use it nearly everyday! I'm not a fan of my freckles and this covers them completely, it's fantastic! I always use an illuminator on my cheeks though because although I like my t-zone to be matte I hate it when my cheeks are!
